I Lazzari Pizzeria in Paris 5eme
I Lazzari Pizzeria really is quite a gastronomic success story and a welcome discovery in Paris 5eme. In fact the Scalzi family who successfully run this small restaurant, are sharp operators bringing the flavours and aromas of Naples’ cuisine to Paris.
The Scalzi family and their small team focus on producing great food using the freshest, Southern Italian ingredients, such as Mozzarella di Bufala (buffalo’s milk) D.O.P and Cherry Tomatoes from Piennolo (Mt. Vesuvias) D.O.P. And yet, they still find the time between making their delectable, chewy pizza dough, to interact and have a passionate discussion about their food – as well as a laugh.
True to its Napolitano roots, the atmosphere is busy, loud, raucous, feisty, fun and energetic. Diners converse and laugh above the sound of cutlery hitting their plates, as they polish off every mouthful of wood-fired pizza and pasta served up.
We could go on, but what’s the point? The best way to understand what we are talking about, is to come and experience I Lazzari for yourself. You won’t look at another pizza the same way ever again!
